The Rooftop Pool: A Cool Escape

Rooftop pool terrace at Alloy Apartments in Downtown LA at dusk, featuring a lap pool surrounded by modern lounge chairs and glass railing, with panoramic city views.

Dive Into Serenity

Perched atop Alloy’s 35‑story tower in LA’s Arts District, the expansive rooftop pool terrace is a rarified retreat above the downtown hustle, where contemporary architecture meets a high-altitude repose.

Residents describe it as their favorite escape within Alloy. Artfully designed to accentuate the skyline, glass railings reflect cool blue water against LA’s warm sky, with discreet accent lighting that extends the atmosphere into evening. City towers and mountain peaks create a layered, panoramic view, with the downtown Los Angeles skyline framed by the ridgelines of the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains.

Daybeds and loungers invite poolside relaxation and sunbathing, while private cabanas offer cozy spaces to linger undisturbed. Landscape architect Nate Cormier of RIOS led a planting scheme that echoes the surrounding Arts District’s industrial heritage, softening the setting with lush greenery.

The rooftop pool terrace at Alloy is directly adjacent to the indoor rooftop lounge and outdoor "Oculus" lounge, creating an expansive, integrated amenity deck that's made for reflection and connection.

Currently the tallest building in the LA Arts District, Alloy blends creative architecture with exceptional amenities, from rooftop lounge spaces to a state-of-the-art gym, co-working hub, an art studio, pet lounge, sauna, massage rooms, theater, gallery bar, and more.
