Architecture

"Rooted in the neighborhood’s creative and industrial legacy, the new high-rise building balances urban edge with elevated design. It is a sculptural composition of glass, metal, concrete and shadow that engages its surroundings with authenticity."-SCB

Interior Design

"Our inspiration for Alloy began with the beauty of imperfection which we saw mirrored in the character of the downtown LA neighborhood: layered, evolving, and rich with history. This led us to the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, the art of mending broken pottery with precious metals, where flaws are not hidden but highlighted as part of the story. This philosophy is reflected in the design, where raw concrete is contrasted with glinting seams of gold that honor the Arts District’s industrial past while signaling its renewal." -Gulla Jonsdottir
